Hands-On Assignment 2

     I would define media and social networking as a way to get  necessary information online through applications or websites that can also create, exchange and share content throughout to other people and family members, and also providing entertainment to people whenever connected to any type of application or website.  

The types of Social Networking sites I currently use is YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and WhatsApp, and KakaoTalk. I use these applications as both a way to communicate and for entertainment usage as well, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok I love to use as a means to have entertainment whenever I have free time  while my Snapchat is mainly used for friends in order to chat and WhatsApp and KakaoTalk is used mainly for my family overseas so I can communicate with them. I would say that I use YouTube almost every single day, whenever I take tests, exams, homework, cleaning, and almost every thing that I do I would play music on YouTube and listen to music, if I'm not in the desire to listen to music I would watch videos from my favorite Youtubers and would also hop on to TikTok and Instagram, I'll use these applications whenever I have free time on my hands or before heading to bed. Snapchat I use almost everyday whenever talking to my friends in order to get information from one another as for KakaoTalk and WhatsApp I use it whenever I talk to my family which is once in a while since of different time.

Social Media does make me feel good about myself since whenever I do something or post content I know already there will be people who will be negative but I ignore the comments since it's just a waste of time to be hung over if someone is being rude, but there is always nice people on the internet who also give courage which is such a beautiful thing to see and even feel. I feel like Social media will always have it's ups and downs in the world and including with family and friends as well since no one is the same whenever it comes to social media and what type of content they'll post compared to you yourself.  I do feel like Social Media has made me feel very mild since I mostly go with the flow with many things and I'm just in the middle of it where I'm not so obsessed with social media and not so negative about social media as well.
