  The type of connection I have come to understand from the material of “ We Are Data” with our latest reading for our assignments has really opened up my mind more and has also made me understand how the internet truly works with our searches.      During this assignment I have come to realize the amount of time and usage I use when looking at both Google and YouTube compared to my other apps that I have on my phone. I realize that I'm using many different apps but always use YouTube more then most of my apps as well and it varies a lot if I want to spend most of my time on one app versus the other depending on how much free time I have on my hands during the week , but the platform that I mostly preference is mostly Google and YouTube since I do listen to a lot of music and have been using YouTube in order to listen to my music on the daily and for Google I mostly use it for doing homework or to just watch anime.      I do realize that I do have a pattern and the pattern is that I use the apps that I preference when I'm mostly free which is on the weekends where I can relax and enjoy my time off from work and just do homework all day which is why I use YouTube a lot on the weekends in order...

  The reading of “We Are Data” gives interesting points when reading about today's networking society and how it describes how we are seen and even how our private information from “gender, ethnicity, class, age, education level, and potentially the status of parent with x number of children.” can be displayed for others to see without us even knowing. It’s very interesting how much private information can be produced about someone that we don’t even know as well as photos as well that is easy access for others to see. I personally don’t really feel any difference in knowing this type of information since I’ve always known that the internet always had access to many different types of information without many people knowing it.       I would define media and social networking as a way to get  necessary information online through applications or websites that can also create, exchange and share content throughout to other people and family members, and also providing entertainment to people whenever connected to any type of application or website.   The types of Social Networking sites I currently use is YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and WhatsApp, and KakaoTalk.  Personal Do's and Don'ts of Social Media Social Media itself has many positives and negatives both on the community and personally as well, where I do see both sides of the community since I've grown up with technology and social media itself, I do like to gather information from social media and gain more knowledge of what's being discovered from the bottom of the sea to what were discovering out in space, I make sure to have a good amount of time on social media versus off it.
