The reading of “We Are Data” gives interesting points when reading about today's networking society and how it describes how we are seen and even how our private information from “gender, ethnicity, class, age, education level, and potentially the status of parent with x number of children.” can be displayed for others to see without us even knowing. It’s very interesting how much private information can be produced about someone that we don’t even know as well as photos as well that is easy access for others to see. I personally don’t really feel any difference in knowing this type of information since I’ve always known that the internet always had access to many different types of information without many people knowing it. But it does also make me be a bit more cautious and to have a better outlook whenever doing a simple search or even when it comes to posting something as well to always be cautious as well of what it can lead to as well in the future.
